I think your hair, being straight and relative frizz-free, can handle some simple layering without needing constant blow-outs and straightening. I have long hair, longer tha...I say yes for layers. I have long hair, longer than yours now and it's straight. Layers help give your hair shape so it's not as flat and just kind of hanging there. I don't think it's much more work at all. <BR/><BR/>Definitely get layers though. I guess it depends on the look you're going for. My hair is very thick and wavy so I always have a few layers and then have it thinned with a razor. It's a long process!
